I just want to say thank you very much for you and your staff’s courtesy at the Training Centre. Coming all the way from Southern Ireland I was a little apprehensive at first but from the moment I entered the locksmith training centre I felt at ease straight away.

The Level 3 Enhanced 7 day locksmith course was excellent and gave a comprehensive coverage to all aspects of Locksmithing. It was fantastic to learn lock picking techniques and workings, which you taught with so much ease and when we had problems or question you were very helpful and clear in your response.

Since completing the course in 2012, you have always been on the other end of the phone to solve any problems or questions, which I find is a big plus when, completing this course. I would highly recommend this Course and Train Locksmiths Ltd.

I have been a very busy locksmith over the past 5 years and always been able to complete thousands of locksmith jobs in a short amount of time and without non-destructive entry. I always have very happy Customer rate and not failed to get in when someone when they have been lockout. All this is down to Train Locksmiths Ltd (the highest level locksmith training centre in United Kingdom) it’s all down to the way you are trained that makes you good and they are very experienced.

I attended a 5 day locksmith training course in mid-December 2005, with Mark Aldred being the instructor at Train Locksmiths Ltd, prior to the locksmith class with Mark - I had no locksmith experience or lock training.

I found Mark to be patient and the methods which he used were easy to understand. The training manual you supplied at the time I still refer to (mortice lock information). On occasions I would need advice or help when carrying out work, for this I would contact Mark and he would give me the information and help that I needed to complete the job.

Now many years later my company is still trading and growing, I find myself in need of information on locks which I am working on, then I just contact Mark for his advice, which he always gives.

There are many things to consider when choosing to train as a locksmith like course content and facilities made available by the provider and of course the tutors industry experience.

There are no short cuts if you wish to pursue a career as a professional locksmith and opting for the cheapest option is fraught with danger and will cost you in the long-run. I have attended other locksmithing courses throughout the country and I have made these fatal mistakes personally, so hopefully you won’t have to.

For a course that will provide you with the knowledge, skills and qualifications that are second to none, then I would STRONGLY recommend Train Locksmiths Ltd in Manchester (they are worth the travel, as I should know).

I recently went on the NCFE Level 3 Enhanced locksmith training course in October using my Enhanced Learning Credits as I am from the armed forces. I really enjoyed the course the tutor mark made us feel at ease on the course it was a relaxed environment even had a few jokes to make it more relaxing.

The course was thoroughly enjoyable and an excellent start for someone like me with no previous locksmith experience. The instructors answered every question I had and ensured I understood.  Also the instructors had an infectious enthusiasm for locksmithing and teaching which help which makes a huge difference.

Although I had no previous experience the instructors were fantastic and had me able to open and replace locks in no time. Also were very open and friendly offering help even after the course has ended.

I would recommend the Train Locksmiths Ltd course as an excellent introduction to this work.

The course covered all aspects of the locksmith trade on both vehicles and domestic/business situations which whilst being very thorough in both the practical and theory aspects of each lock type, was well set out and all the right tools and equipment was provided, so everything we were taught could be (and was) put into practice.

I learnt a variety of new tasks and had all the support required to do this. Now I have passed I can look forward to a fantastic new locksmith career. Having completed the course on the 25th June 2010, I found the locksmith training was put in such a way that it was understandable for beginners and gave sufficient knowledge to cope with the work being carried out during and after the course.

The knowledge of the instructors was very impressive and gave you great confidence in the support that they provided whilst on the course, this has also proved the case when support was required after completion of same.

I would therefore highly recommend this locksmith course to anyone seeking a change of occupation.

After working on the railway for a number of years things started to slow down and people were losing their jobs, there was talk of more cuts so I decided it was time to start looking for a different career. I had always dreamed of running my own business, so started looking online for different trade options, that’s when i thought about locksmithing classes to become a locksmith then I came across Train Locksmiths Ltd.

After speaking to the team I went to have a look at the training centre, I was impressed with the set up and the earning potential and signed up for the course in May 2010.

On the first day everyone was picking locks due to Mark’s excellent teaching skills, all questions were answered in a clear and easy understanding manner. The class room was comfortable and there was a good atmosphere; by the end of the course I was confident in all aspects of locksmithing skills and techniques.

That’s not to say that I have not needed the back-up services on numerous occasions as Train Locksmiths Ltd always say you will never know what scenario you will come across onsite. Martin and Mark have always been there to talk me through any jobs or using the Nationwide Locksmiths Forum when I’ve been struggling.

I now make my living solely from my locksmith business, Train Locksmiths Ltd are also putting work my way which is fantastic. Thanks for all the support over the last 2 years!

After coming into the Locksmith industry with absolutely no knowledge of anything lock related (I didn't even know what a Yale lock was!) I can safely say I am more than confident in tackling anything the general public throw at me! The locksmith classes were brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed every day.

As a female I was mildly concerned that I wouldn't be as capable as the guys - or would be treated slightly differently! This couldn't be any further from the truth – I was equal in everything we did – and both Mark and all the guys on the course were fantastic!

The support from Mark after the locksmith training course has made starting my locksmith business so much easier – and not as daunting knowing that if I don't know the answer Mark is only a phone call away!

The locksmith training course I attended, was very enjoyable, and the tutors made me feel welcome, and relaxed, if I didn't understand how a lock worked, or had a problem, the tutors wouldn't think twice about stopping and going over it again with me. Also the locksmith tutors made the locks, and the explanation of how the locks worked very simple, and simplify techniques used to pick locks.

Also the boarding and glazing was very informative as to how Upvc doors worked, and how to rectify Upvc doors and windows when they have dropped or have been broken, showing techniques to make buildings safe after a break in. I feel the excellent locksmith training that I received has given me the confidence to go out and tackle any lock that is fitted to a premises or vehicle, so I would like to thank Mark and the Train Locksmiths Ltd team for giving me first class tuition to help build my future career as a successful locksmith business.

I had for many years owned and run my own DIY business, cutting keys and selling hardware and I always wanted to expand and diversify into the locksmithing side.

I then decided to look into locksmith training courses and found out that many locksmith training courses were poorly run and didn't cater for my need's as the hours in which I could do the training had to be flexible.
